New translators and editors are also magnificent, some might argue even moreso than penises!

Updated the “Edit with Short Wharf” page, going to keep a running list of projects that are translated (or almost done with translation) but have yet to find the loving care of an editor. Please contact us if you’re interested at trying your hand at any of them. Best way is our forums. But we also have IRC.

At derp’s suggestion I also added in some of the best tutorials for learning how to edit hentai / manga, including one I used to teach myself.

Will be making a “Translate with Short Wharf” page in the near future.  We’re always open for newcomers at the Wharf!

ok I’m(meth) doing this poll to see whether it’d be viable for an artist like cannabis to print and sell English versions of her books.

assumptions for this poll is that we’re talking about physical copies and not digital versions and that they’ll cost 800 yen.(8.15 USD/6.24 EUR) also shes about to release a compilation of the trap brother inlaw with some extras for 1600 yen.

also answer honestly as we wont judge you for being a filthy pirate(not that we could) and hopefully ill cover most possible answers.

So it was mostly done in jest, since we’re mostly known for trap, bishounen, shota and that kind of stuff, but after our April Fools bara post, some people expressed interest in having bara content on the site, so figured it’d be good to (semi) seriously address it.

We’re open to having any and all kinds of yaoi on the site. Heck, if you come for our futa-on-male, straight femdom, or even the futa-on-futa stuff, you know we’re open to more than just yaoi.  There is, however, one issue, and that’s how interested Short Wharf members would be in working on bara stuff. I’m honestly not sure how interested people would be, but definitely going to pass on the interest (and obviously it works much better if there are comments from actual readers about it) and see what happens.

Obviously, if you are one of those people who would like to see bara on the site, and know people who work with bara, sending them our way would be a huge first step. Even if we’re just there to QC some of their stuff, collaborating and recruiting people interested in working on bara is the first step.  If YOU’RE interested in translating or editing bara, then, damn, that’s even better. Stop by our forums and let us know, and we’ll start figuring out how to proceed.

Traps have been an integral part of what we do at Short Wharf, but this month we’re changing gears and going in another direction, a muscular, meaty, hairy direction!  We realize that bara isn’t very popular with lots of our readers (in fact, some of you are downright intolerant about anything that’s not “insert specific genre of drawn homosexual porn originating from Japan”) but we like to be open and free here and indulge in the various genres and fetishes, even if they’re not what Whiny Reader #4441244141 wanted.

For those of you who prefer traps, bishounen, and would like us to not work on bara in the future, we give you…
